TRANSHUMANISM WORKSHOP
Apologies to Gregor and and every one else interested in this workshop. Technical diffculties prevented us from carrying out the web chat. However, here are some references if you'd like to follow up on the issue.
Gregor Wolbring is a disability rights activist and researcher interested in discussing TRANSHUMANISM (advocating the "upgrading" of the human body) and what relationship their seemingly marginal movement has to CORPORATE STRATEGY to open up new markets for BODY ENHANCEMENT products. The disability rights community is especially vigilant about the threat of putting the body under particular aesthetic regimes.
